I've been playing and GMing tabletop RPGs since the early 1980s and have finally gotten into game design over the past few years. I mostly play and GM narrative-focused RPGs and story-games. I am particularly interested in games in the Powered by the Apocalypse, Rooted in Trophy, and Carved From Brindlewood game families.
I live in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of central New York State where I am IT administrator in higher education. I am also an unapologetic Leftist who supports LGBTQ+ rights, racial and economic justice, prison abolition, open borders, and taxing billionaires out of existence. Abolish ICE.
All of my games follow the "No fascists!" rule. (a.k.a. "The Olivia Hill Rule")
As Olivia said for her games, I say for mine:
If you're a fascist, you're not welcome to play this game. It's against the rules. If you're reading this and thinking, "You just call everyone you disagree with a fascist," then you're probably a fascist, or incapable of drawing inferences from context and acknowledging a dangerous political climate that causes the oppressed to be hyperbolic. Don't play this game. Heal yourself. Grow. Learn. Watch some Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood or something.
